‘Greater Birmingham Project’ – the next steps

On March 17, Lord Heseltine joined Directors of the GBSLEP Board to launch their joint report ‘The Greater Birmingham Project: the Path To Local Growth’.

The report, developed in response to Lord Heseltine's report, 'No Stone Unturned' showcased ways in which the GBSLEP could accelerate economic growth projects if it had access to a substantial single pot.

Paradise Circus £450 million transformation drives forward

A major investment that will drive forward the Birmingham City Centre Enterprise Zone has been approved by the GBSLEP Board. More than £60 million has been approved to enable work on the redevelopment of Paradise Circus to go ahead. The project is expected to generate up to 12,000 jobs.
